Case Management

Involved in the production of the 'Product of the law firm' - this is a superior result to the firm's clients.

Like every successful product it must meet the needs of the consumer, the firm's client. It must be produced cost effectively so as to yield a profit to the producer and it must offer an advantage over competition in the marketplace in some valuable way, either scale/quality of the result, the price, and or the speed of execution.

ellwood's Case Management division contains paralegals, information technology specialists along with certified application specialists and forensic specialists. Our job is to outline the scope of the information set required, acquire the various information sets, process this data in an orderly format and filter out the non-responsive 'noise' that such a collection always attracts. We then make this data available to the litigation team in a way that they can most efficiently use the information to build their case, supporting them with education and participating in constructing the deliverables.

These deliverables include affidavits of documents and productions, exhibits management, undertakings request, tracking and undertaking production, factums and fact oriented affidavits, numerical analysis, development of chronologies tied to documents and other evidence, preparation for examinations and cross examinations, transcript review and management, request to admit documentation, pre-trial memo fact assistance, court room presentation and direct support of counsel in the examination/hearing or trial environment.

We are not lawyers but we can assist in refocusing the time a lawyer spends on a case to the heart of the matter. We can marshal the facts and do the lifting required so that the lawyer is able to concentrate on developing a winning strategy and time to focus on the essentials. We are not forensic accounts but we can reduce the costs associated with engaging a forensic accountant by providing to them information in a orderly way that aids their forensic review. We can prepare court room presentations based on their material to facilitate the delivery of their point.

We are certified and experienced in a wide and ever growing range of applications that are focused on these deliverables

Our focus is applying these tools and the industries best practices to deliver cost effective, time effective and thorough management of the facts. It is not the tools that are important but the application of these tools in the law firm's practice and the experience to use them well that leads our contribution to the firm's successful 'product' - a superior result to the firm's clients.
